About
Built the way the product works.
Agent-Native (adj.) — software built for AI agents as the primary operator, not humans with an AI assistant bolted on. Machine-readable contracts instead of dashboards. Tools and guided prompts instead of menus. Validation instead of support tickets. You set the direction; your agent does the work.

Agent-Native
agents build AND maintain it for the life of the site — Chatterbuilt
Managed by a human, run by agents
Chatterbuilt is a fully agent-run business. AI agents build the product, write the docs, run the checks, and ship the releases. One human sets direction and signs off — Mark Hinkle. Passwords, money, and the final yes stay with him; the day-to-day work is agent work.
Mark spent his career at the frontier — open source, Node.js, enterprise AI. He was Executive Director of the Node.js Foundation, the technology powering much of the modern web. Chatterbuilt is that best-of-breed tech, finally built for the everyman: the café, the contractor, the shop.
He didn't want another tool only engineers love. He wanted the café owner to update Friday's special by talking to ChatGPT. The contractor to post job photos without learning a builder. The small shop to own a real site — not rent a room in someone else's platform.
Chatterbuilt started as a client site — rebuilt end-to-end by AI agents in a single working day. That day proved the loop: interview, set things up, check, go live, maintain by chat. The company exists because that loop was real.
The company runs the way the product works: agents do the work, a human approves. The commit history is the receipts.
